Food stalls
On the bank of the Mekong river you can eat delicious Lao food. We had Pork spareribs and sausages which were so tasty! Together with a beer and fried rice it makes a great affordable and tasty diner amongst friendly local Lao people.
If you are more adventurous you can always try frogs or raw fish at other stalls, but I cannot tell you anything about this since I'm not that brave.
You'll find the best stall at the west end of the bank.
